The Real Founder

Hey June!  There are no words I could type today that could be more true and beautiful than what Lisa has typed over on the website. So I have copied her here and hope that everyone reading see's that God continues to work through all of our troubles, all of our suffering, all of our lives. There is nothing that will stop us from fighting for those who cannot speak for themselves.  This adorable little guy, (insert gushing and ahhhing because.... is he not the cutest little guy you've ever seen?) Lisa's son who went to Heaven fifteen years ago today. We call him "The Real Founder" here - his short life on earth and early departure to Heaven ignited a burning flame in our hearts, which resulted in galvanized faith, a memoir, three more children home, and this charity - Open Hearts for Orphans, born in 2016.

Daniel was such a sweet baby. I can't put into words how he changed us...yet he did in just 127 days. If you wish to know more about his life in our family, please order a copy of With an Open Heart.
